In the opening verses of John’s first letter, the Apostle-Pastor expresses his purpose for writing this letter, revealing for us what should be the motivation for every follower of Christ. A motivated disciple is convinced about the reality of Christ, converted by an experience with Christ, and is concerned to share the message of Christ.
