Brothers and sisters,
Happy Monday to all! Yesterday as we read Isaiah 55 and looked at 1 Corinthians 1 and 2, we saw how God’s ways and thoughts are far above our ways and thoughts. The wisdom of people seems right in one generation only to be rejected by the next generation. However, as high as the heavens are above the earth, so our God’s wisdom, ways, and thoughts higher than our wisdom, ways, and thoughts. God uses the weak and the foolish of the world to shame the wise and powerful. God uses the powerless and the poor and lowly to show His great salvation and power through them. God calls many of those no one else would call. Do you think God cannot use you? Think again! You can be the one that proclaims Jesus crucified and risen to some weak or desperate person and see the cross of Christ change their lives forever. God choses the weak, powerless, and foolish things of the world to show the greatness of His eternal salvation.
We will observe the Lord’s Super during our morning worship next Sunday, April 28th.
Remember to keep praying continually for each other. None of us know fully the burdens our brothers and sisters in Christ might be carrying.
Love being your pastor!
