Youth Ministries

The Bible is clear that the call of Christian parents is to train and teach their children according to the gospel. Admittedly, in today’s world this represents a parent’s greatest challenge. We at EMBC eagerly desire as a church to support parents in this effort. We do this by reinforcing parental teaching at home and equipping them with necessary tools. We desire to partner with families to cultivate God-centered, cross-focused children. Our goal is to teach children about God and cultivate their spiritual growth–not babysit or entertain. Below you’ll find a listing of our different youth ministries.

Nursery

There is a nursery available on Sundays when we meet, both during Sunday School and Sunday Worship. Nursery age is generally weaned infant through age 3.

Children’s Worship

Our families worship together as they read the same Scriptures, hear the same prayers, and sing the same songs. We believe that it is important for everyone to learn from God’s Word when we gather. So when it is time for the sermon, we believe that younger children can learn best when instructed according to their age. That’s what Children’s Worship is for. Children ages three through eight are invited to attend Children’s Worship prior to the pastor’s sermon. Older children remain present during the sermon.

Sunday School

On Sunday morning before Sunday Worship, children from Pre-school through High School ages meet in various classes for Bible study and discipleship.
